About this field guide
An independent collection of practical notes for curious Omarchy users.
Why this exists
Section titled “Why this exists”This is a personal knowledge project: a place to turn scattered discoveries into approachable, lasting guides. The focus is getting started, finding a sensible diagnostic path, and understanding changes before making them.
Omarchy Field Guide is an independent fan project. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by Omarchy or Omacom. Visit omarchy.org for official downloads, announcements, and documentation.
How to read the article labels
Section titled “How to read the article labels”Source reviewed means the cited public material was checked on the stated date. It does not mean the steps were tested on physical hardware. The initial edition uses Omarchy 4.x documentation as its baseline; this is not a promise that every 4.x configuration behaves identically.
Version-specific workarounds should always be matched to the affected software and hardware. Original community reports are linked as context, not presented as universal fixes.
English and Simplified Chinese
Section titled “English and Simplified Chinese”Both languages share the same article structure. English is the source edition. A translated page should be reviewed whenever the underlying instructions change. Interface language does not determine which keyboard layout or input method you use.
Corrections
Section titled “Corrections”When you find a problem, record the page address, the affected sentence, your version, and a supporting source. This edition has no submission backend. Keep the report for the site maintainer; for operating-system support, use the official support route.
What comes next
Section titled “What comes next”More tested hardware examples, deeper customization, and clearer illustrations can grow from actual use. Accuracy and maintainability guide what gets added.
